Recruiting Opportunities

ㆍYear-round Recruiting

We hire experienced staff throughout the year whenever there is an opening. Applicants can check job opening postings and submit an application at SK Group’s career website.

ㆍRegular Recruiting

Regular recruiting is held once a year on SK Group level. During the process, we mostly look for new staff researchers with master’s degree. Applicants can check career information including job opening postings and the company’s recruiting policy briefing at SK career website.

ㆍBusiness-Academia Scholarship Program

SK Innovation Institute of Technology hosts a business-academia scholarship program for students working on their master’s and doctorate degrees in the science and engineering field as part of its broad efforts to secure talented human resources. Winners of the business-academia scholarship program are provided with support for tuition fees and subsidies for research projects , and further get an opportunity to be hired as SK researchers after completing their courses.

The selection of scholarship winners is held in the beginning (around January through February) of every year.

Recruiting process

Online application → Screening → SK Aptitude Test → Interview → Medical checkup → Final notice

1) Online application

2) Screening

You should fill out the online application honestly and accurately since the screening process looks at the applicant’s talent, capabilities, experience and qualifications as well as his or her perception and attitude toward the company.

3) SK Aptitude Test

SK Aptitude Test is designed to test the applicant’s cognitive ability in performing daily duties; personality & attitude as a member of the organization; and future growth potential.

4) Interview

In-depth and multi-dimensional interviews are conducted to identify the applicant’s knowledge level, understanding about daily work, ability to perform daily duties, potential, working philosophy and challenging spirit. For applicants in R&D, an in-depth seminar is conducted to know about the applicant’s knowledge in his or her field of study.

5) Medical checkup

Applicants who successfully pass the interview process go through a medical checkup. Medical checkup decides whether the applicant is in good shape to perform his or her duties.

6) Employment notice

Entry-level candidates get a final notice of their employment after the medical checkup. Experienced or specialists candidates get a final notice of employment after they pass through medical checkup and negotiate their position and benefit packages with the company.
